Gain Control
Over Your SQL Product Changes |
|
RAAS WorkFlow Manager allows you to gain control over your SQL database
development change process. Requested changes go through a
formalized approval process prior to release or upgrade script
inclusion, giving your SQL experts the authority they need.
The
general RAAS workflow is as follows:
-
Upon installation, the RAAS administrator
configures the desired request input criteria, such as Release Number,
Customer Name, etc.
-
Requested change information is entered through
RAAS by your developers, end users, and who ever else is granted access
-
Requested changes go into the approval queue,
where they may be approved, changed, or sent back to the submitter for
modification.
-
SQL release scripts may then be generated at any
time based on any of the criteria configured by the RAAS administrator
during initial setup. For example, a script may be generated for
Release 6.5 and Customer 'ABC Industries', etc.
